Trading and Financial Technology Platforms

Engineering of trading interfaces, order management, market data and post-trade systems for licensed firms and FinTech teams, built for latency, correctness and auditability.

Overview

Trading systems leave little room for ambiguity. Orders must be processed exactly once, market data must be consistent across every screen, and each action has to be reconstructable for compliance review long after it happened.

We engineer trading and financial technology platforms for regulated firms and FinTech product teams, spanning traditional and digital asset markets. The emphasis is on deterministic order handling, resilient market data pipelines, pre-trade risk checks and the audit trails that supervisors expect.

iQsolutions builds trading and financial software for clients. It does not execute trades, route orders, hold funds or assets, or provide brokerage, exchange or investment advisory services. Platform operators are responsible for their own licensing, market conduct and regulatory compliance.

Business applications

  1. 01

    Trading interfaces and terminals

Web and desktop front ends with streaming quotes, depth-of-book views, charting and order tickets, designed for dense information display and predictable behaviour during volatile market conditions.

  2. 02

    Order and execution management

Services that manage the order lifecycle, run pre-trade risk checks, route to venues or liquidity providers through FIX or REST APIs, and keep a full event history for every state change.

  3. 03

    Market data platforms

Ingestion, normalisation and distribution of real-time and historical market data from exchanges, data vendors and on-chain sources, with gap detection and replay for testing and analysis.

  4. 04

    Post-trade and reporting

Trade capture, position keeping, reconciliation against venue and custodian records, and structured reporting extracts that feed the client's own compliance, finance and regulatory reporting processes.

Engineering approach

  1. 01

    Domain and control mapping

We document instruments, venues, order types, risk limits and regulatory obligations with the client's compliance team, so controls are designed into the architecture rather than added later.

  2. 02

    Event-sourced architecture

Order and position state is modelled as an append-only event log, providing deterministic replay, precise audit trails and the ability to rebuild state after failures.

  3. 03

    Performance engineering

Latency budgets are set per path and verified under load, with critical services written in Go, Rust, Java or C++ and profiled against realistic message rates.

  4. 04

    Resilience and testing

Simulated venues, replayed market sessions, chaos testing and failover drills confirm the platform behaves correctly when connections drop, messages repeat or prices gap.

  5. 05

    Controlled rollout

Parallel runs, staged user access and kill switches allow new components to go live gradually, with monitoring tuned to detect anomalies in order flow or data quality.

Questions leaders ask

Do you provide trading strategies or algorithms?

No. We do not develop or recommend trading strategies, and we provide no investment advice. We engineer the platforms, connectivity and controls that licensed firms use to run their own strategies, with the risk checks and audit trails each firm specifies.

Can you support both traditional and digital asset markets?

Yes. Many platforms now span both. We connect to traditional venues through FIX and to digital asset venues through their APIs, normalising orders and market data into one model while respecting each market's distinct settlement and regulatory characteristics.

How do you handle regulatory record-keeping?

We implement the record-keeping your compliance team defines, including immutable order and event logs, clock synchronisation, retention policies and retrieval tools. Interpreting which rules apply, such as SEC, FINRA or MiFID II requirements, remains with your compliance and legal advisers.
