DeFi Platforms

Engineering of decentralised finance protocols and interfaces, including lending, exchange and vault mechanics, with risk controls, oracle safety and audit readiness designed in.

Overview

Decentralised finance concentrates risk in code. A pricing bug, a manipulable oracle or a missed edge case in liquidation logic can be exploited within a single block, and there is rarely a way to reverse the damage.

We engineer DeFi systems for teams that treat that risk seriously. Protocol mechanics are modelled before they are coded, economic edge cases are tested under stress, and interfaces show users clearly what a transaction will do before they sign it.

Engineering services only. iQsolutions does not operate, govern or promote DeFi protocols, does not hold or route user funds, and provides no investment, legal or tax advice. Protocol teams are responsible for their own regulatory analysis and licensing.

Business applications

  1. 01

    Lending and collateral systems

Overcollateralised lending markets with configurable risk parameters, health-factor calculations and liquidation mechanics, tested against price shocks, oracle delays and thin-market conditions before any deployment to a public network.

  2. 02

    Exchange mechanisms

Automated market maker, order-book and request-for-quote designs, including extensions to existing venues through mechanisms such as Uniswap v4 hooks, with explicit handling of slippage, front-running exposure and fee accounting.

  3. 03

    Vault and treasury contracts

ERC-4626 tokenised vaults with clear accounting, deposit and withdrawal limits, and guarded adapters, engineered so that share pricing cannot be manipulated through donation, inflation or rounding attacks.

  4. 04

    Protocol interfaces and dashboards

Web interfaces, transaction simulation and indexed dashboards that let users and operators see positions, protocol health and parameter changes as they happen, with human-readable previews before anyone signs.

Engineering approach

  1. 01

    Mechanism modelling

We model protocol mechanics and incentives in Python or agent-based simulations to find unstable parameters, insolvency paths and manipulation opportunities before writing contract code.

  2. 02

    Oracle and dependency design

Price feeds, time-weighted averages, circuit breakers and fallback logic are designed explicitly. Every external dependency, whether oracle, bridge or token, is documented with its failure behaviour.

  3. 03

    Implementation and invariant testing

Contracts are built in Foundry with invariant suites asserting solvency and accounting properties, and fork tests run against real mainnet state to expose integration surprises early.

  4. 04

    Operational controls

Pause guardians, rate limits, timelocked governance and multisig administration are configured so operators can respond to incidents without holding unilateral control over user positions.

  5. 05

    Audit and monitored launch

We support independent audits, help structure bug bounty programs, and launch with conservative limits plus on-chain monitoring and alerting through tools such as Tenderly, Forta or Hypernative.

Questions leaders ask

Can you guarantee our protocol will not be exploited?

No one can honestly offer that guarantee. What we provide is disciplined risk reduction: rigorous specification, adversarial testing, support for independent audits, conservative launch limits and active monitoring. We document residual risks plainly so your team and your users can make informed decisions.

Do you help with token launches or tokenomics?

We do not design token economics as a fundraising or market activity, and we do not participate in token sales or distributions. We engineer protocol mechanics and test their stability. Questions about issuance, distribution and regulatory classification belong with your legal counsel.

Will you operate or administer the protocol after launch?

No. Administrative keys, governance and operational authority remain with the client or its governance process. We can design multisig and timelock arrangements, write runbooks and train your team, but we do not hold keys that control user funds or protocol parameters.
