Quality Engineering and Testing
Quality engineered into delivery through test strategy, automation, and performance, accessibility and security testing, so releases are frequent, predictable and verifiable.
Overview
Quality problems are rarely caused by a lack of testers. They come from tests written too late, suites that are slow and flaky, environments that do not resemble production, and a definition of done that stops at the merge. The result is either cautious, infrequent releases or defects found by customers.
We treat quality as an engineering discipline embedded in delivery. Test strategies are designed alongside architecture, automation runs at the right layer of the test pyramid, and performance, accessibility and security checks run continuously in the pipeline, giving teams fast and trustworthy feedback on every change.
Business applications
- 01
Test automation programs
Building maintainable automated suites across unit, API, contract and end-to-end layers, replacing slow manual regression cycles with feedback that arrives within the pull request and points to the change behind each failure.
- 02
Performance and load engineering
Modelling realistic traffic with k6 or Gatling, finding capacity limits and bottlenecks before peak events, and building performance budgets into continuous integration so regressions surface early.
- 03
Contract and integration testing
Using consumer-driven contract tests and ephemeral environments to verify that services and integrations stay compatible as independent teams release on their own schedules, without relying on a fragile shared staging environment.
- 04
Accessibility and compliance verification
Combining automated checks with expert manual audits using screen readers and keyboard navigation against WCAG 2.2, and producing the evidence that supports accessibility statements and related regulatory obligations.
Engineering approach
- 01
Quality risk assessment
We identify the business flows, integrations and failure modes that matter most, review existing tests and defect history, and focus effort where defects would cost the most.
- 02
Test strategy and architecture
We define what each test layer covers, how test data is managed and which environments are needed, aiming for fast feedback with as few slow end-to-end tests as practical.
- 03
Automation build
Tests are written as production-quality code with clear structure, reusable fixtures and descriptive naming, and reviewed to the same standard as the application code they protect.
- 04
Pipeline integration
Suites run in parallel within CI, with flaky-test quarantine, failure triage and reporting that show developers exactly what broke and why before code is merged.
- 05
Continuous non-functional testing
Performance, accessibility and security scans run on schedules and before releases, with results tracked over time so gradual degradation is caught before it reaches users.

Questions leaders ask
How much test automation is the right amount?
Enough that the team can release with confidence without a long manual regression phase. Coverage percentages are a weak signal on their own. We focus on whether critical flows, integrations and known failure modes are protected, and whether the suite runs fast enough that developers actually act on its results.
Can you fix a flaky, slow test suite we already have?
Yes. We analyse failure patterns, identify root causes such as shared state, timing assumptions and unstable test data, and quarantine unreliable tests while they are repaired. Often the bigger gain comes from moving checks to lower layers, replacing slow end-to-end tests with faster API or contract tests that cover the same risk.
Do you provide independent testing or work inside our teams?
Both are possible. Embedded quality engineers work inside delivery teams to build automation and coach practices, which tends to produce the most durable results. Independent assessments suit release readiness reviews, performance validation ahead of major events, or accessibility audits where an outside perspective is valuable.
