Products slow down for structural reasons. A front end tangled with backend logic, a monolith where every change risks unrelated features, a data model that cannot represent new customer types: these constraints show up as missed roadmap commitments long before anyone calls them architecture problems.
We assess product architecture against where the product needs to go, then modernize incrementally. Strangler patterns, modular boundaries, API-first services and better delivery pipelines let teams keep shipping while the foundations change underneath, avoiding the risk of a stalled big-bang rewrite.
商業應用
- 01
Monolith decomposition
Identify domain boundaries within a monolith and extract modules or services only where independent change and scaling genuinely matter, keeping the rest as a well-structured modular core.
- 02
Front-end modernization
Migrate legacy front ends to modern frameworks incrementally, route by route or module by module, so users see steady improvement rather than a long freeze followed by a risky switch.
- 03
Multi-tenancy and SaaS readiness
Restructure a single-customer or on-premises product for multi-tenant SaaS delivery, addressing tenant isolation, configuration, onboarding, billing integration and the operational tooling a hosted service requires.
- 04
AI-ready product architecture
Prepare product data, APIs and event streams so AI features and agents can be added safely, with clear permissions, audit trails and boundaries around what automation is allowed to change.
工程方法
- 01
Assess architecture against strategy
We review code structure, dependencies, data models, delivery pipelines and operational data, relating each constraint to the specific product goals it obstructs.
- 02
Define the target architecture
A target architecture with documented decisions and trade-offs describes boundaries, integration styles and platform choices, sized to the product's real scale and team structure.
- 03
Plan incremental migration
Work is sequenced into independently valuable steps using strangler fig and branch-by-abstraction patterns, so each step can ship, be measured and be paused safely.
- 04
Strengthen engineering foundations
Automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, observability and feature flags are improved first where they reduce migration risk and raise confidence in each release.
- 05
Transfer ownership
Architecture decision records, documentation and pairing ensure your engineers understand and own the new structure, not only the code that was delivered.

決策者關心的問題
Should we rewrite the product from scratch?
Rarely. Full rewrites carry significant risk: they freeze feature delivery, rediscover forgotten requirements and often stall before reaching parity. Incremental modernization preserves working software and delivers value along the way. We recommend a rewrite only when the assessment shows incremental change is genuinely impractical.
Do we need microservices?
Not necessarily. Microservices solve specific problems around independent deployment and scaling, but they add operational complexity. Many products are better served by a well-structured modular monolith, with services extracted only where boundaries and scaling needs justify them. The recommendation follows your team and your product.
Can modernization happen while we keep shipping features?
Yes, and it should. We plan modernization alongside the product roadmap, often modernizing the areas where new features are planned so both goals advance together. Feature flags and incremental releases let teams ship continuously while the architecture changes underneath.
