Documents remain the interface between many organizations: invoices, bills of lading, claims, applications, contracts and identity records. Intelligent document processing turns them into structured, validated data that downstream systems can act on, instead of leaving staff to rekey information by hand.
Modern pipelines combine optical character recognition, layout-aware models and large language models, each where it performs best. We pair them with validation rules and confidence-based review, because even strong extraction models make mistakes that a business process must be designed to catch.
商業應用
- 01
Accounts payable automation
Capture header and line-item data from supplier invoices in varied layouts, match it against purchase orders and receipts, and route mismatches to finance staff with the discrepancy highlighted.
- 02
Claims and application intake
Classify incoming packets, split them into individual documents, extract applicant and policy details, check completeness against requirements, and prepare cases for adjusters or underwriters to assess.
- 03
Contract data extraction
Identify parties, dates, obligations, renewal terms and non-standard clauses across contract portfolios, building a searchable repository for legal and procurement teams to review and verify.
- 04
Logistics and trade documents
Read bills of lading, customs declarations, packing lists and delivery notes, reconcile them against shipment records, and flag inconsistencies before they cause delays or compliance issues.
工程方法
- 01
Characterize the document set
Sample real documents across sources, layouts, languages and quality levels, and define the fields, validation rules and downstream systems each document type must feed.
- 02
Select the extraction strategy
Choose among managed OCR services, layout-aware models, vision-capable LLMs or a combination for each document type, based on measured performance on your own samples.
- 03
Build validation and business rules
Cross-check extracted values against reference data, arithmetic totals, master records and format rules, so errors are caught by logic rather than discovered later in downstream systems.
- 04
Design the review experience
Present low-confidence fields side by side with the source image so reviewers can correct values quickly, and capture each correction as data for future improvement.
- 05
Integrate and monitor
Deliver validated data to ERP, claims or case management systems through APIs or events, and monitor straight-through processing, review volume and field-level quality over time.

決策者關心的問題
What accuracy can we expect?
It depends on document quality, layout variety and the fields involved, so we do not quote a figure before testing. During discovery we measure field-level accuracy on a held-out sample of your own documents and use those results to decide which fields can flow straight through and which need human review.
Can it handle handwriting and poor scans?
Within limits. Current OCR and vision models handle many handwritten entries and degraded scans, but quality drops as legibility falls. We measure performance on your actual samples, route uncertain fields to reviewers, and may recommend upstream changes, such as digital forms, where they would reduce the problem at its source.
Where is our document data processed?
Wherever your requirements dictate. Pipelines can run on managed services in a specific cloud region, or entirely within your own environment using self-hosted OCR and open-weight models. We document data flows, retention and encryption so your security and privacy teams can review them before go-live.
