M5 Wallet
Self-custody across many chains, without a seed phrase to lose.
Overview
M5 Wallet is self-custodial software for people who want access to many blockchains without managing a recovery phrase. Its M5 Vault splits signing authority into two key shares that are generated separately and used together, so the full private key is never assembled on any single device or server.
The wallet presents assets from more than 30 chain families in one unified portfolio and adds cross-chain swaps, market views, staking, a dApp browser with WalletConnect, and hardware wallet support. iQsolutions' role in platforms like this is software engineering (architecture, interfaces, security design and blockchain connectivity), not custody, brokerage or any other financial service.
The challenge
Recovery phrases are the weakest point of conventional self-custody. They can be photographed, phished or simply lost, and asking a new user to write down a list of words before they have seen the product is a poor first experience. At the same time, the product had to remain genuinely self-custodial: the provider cannot move or recover a user's assets.
Multi-chain support compounds the difficulty. Bitcoin, EVM-compatible networks and other chain families use different signature schemes, address formats, fee models and transaction lifecycles, yet users expect one balance, one swap flow and the same vault on every device, without key material being copied each time a device is added.

User experience
Onboarding is keyless: a vault is created through Google sign-in, with no word list to record and no browser extension to install first. Every client (iOS, Android, web, desktop and browser extension) acts as a client of the same 2-of-2 vault, so adding a device extends access without duplicating secrets.
The portfolio shows holdings across all supported chains on one screen, with spot balances and derivatives positions side by side. Power tools such as bulk send, an address book, watch-only accounts and hidden wallets serve experienced users, while URL risk checks run before the dApp browser connects to an application.
Key engineering capabilities
- 01
Threshold signing vault
Two key shares are created through distributed key generation and co-sign over an encrypted channel. Neither share can derive the key or produce a signature alone, and the output is a standard ECDSA or Schnorr signature that needs no special on-chain contract.
- 02
Multi-chain connectivity
Bitcoin, Ethereum and other EVM-compatible networks, Solana, Tron, TON, XRP, Cardano, Polkadot, Cosmos and many more chain families are reached from one vault, with each chain's address formats, fees and transaction lifecycle handled behind a consistent interface.
- 03
Unified portfolio and markets
A single portfolio view aggregates balances across supported networks and places derivatives positions beside spot holdings. Live prices, candlestick charts and watchlists give users market context without leaving the wallet or reconciling several separate applications.
- 04
Cross-chain swap routing
Built-in swaps compare routes from several providers and execute the selected route across supported chains, removing the need to visit external bridge sites. The flow is designed to make the route, networks and assets explicit before a user signs.
- 05
dApp access with risk checks
A built-in dApp browser connects to decentralized applications through WalletConnect and runs URL risk checks before a connection is made, reducing exposure to malicious sites while leaving the user in control of every approval they give.
- 06
Hardware wallets and power tools
Hardware wallets are supported, with device communication isolated in a background process. Bulk send, an address book, watch-only accounts and hidden wallets extend the product for experienced users who manage many addresses across several networks.
