Digital Asset Infrastructure

Back-end infrastructure for organisations working with digital assets: node operations, key management integration, transaction orchestration, ledgering and reconciliation.

Overview

Organisations that handle digital assets need the same operational rigor as any financial back office: reliable connectivity to networks, controlled signing, accurate books and records, and an audit trail that stands up to scrutiny.

We engineer that infrastructure layer for clients, integrating with their chosen custodians and key management providers, building transaction orchestration and policy engines, and reconciling on-chain activity against internal ledgers. The work is unglamorous by design. Its job is to be correct, observable and uneventful in production.

iQsolutions engineers infrastructure software for clients. It does not provide custody, safekeeping, exchange or transfer services, and does not hold client or customer assets. Clients are responsible for any licensing, registration and regulatory obligations attached to their own activities.

Business applications

  1. 01

    Node and RPC infrastructure

Managed or self-hosted node fleets with load balancing, failover across providers, archive access where needed, and monitoring for chain halts, lagging blocks and reorganisations that could affect downstream systems.

  2. 02

    Transaction orchestration

Services that construct, simulate, route for approval and broadcast transactions through MPC or HSM-backed signers, with nonce management, fee estimation, retry logic and complete audit trails.

  3. 03

    Ledgering and reconciliation

Double-entry internal ledgers that reconcile against on-chain balances and custodian statements, flagging breaks automatically so finance and operations teams can investigate well before reporting deadlines.

  4. 04

    Compliance tooling integration

Client-side integration of KYC, sanctions screening and blockchain analytics providers such as Chainalysis, TRM Labs or Elliptic, plus Travel Rule messaging, configured to the client's own compliance policies.

Engineering approach

  1. 01

    Operating model mapping

We document how assets, approvals and data flow across the organisation, identifying where custody sits, who authorises what, and which records auditors and regulators will expect to see.

  2. 02

    Architecture and segregation

Signing, policy, ledger and connectivity components are separated with least-privilege access, so compromising one service cannot authorise transfers or alter books on its own.

  3. 03

    Provider integration

We integrate the client's chosen custodians, MPC platforms, node providers and compliance vendors, wrapping each behind internal interfaces to limit unnecessary vendor lock-in.

  4. 04

    Controls and testing

Policy rules, approval quorums and reconciliation logic are tested against realistic scenarios, including failed broadcasts, stuck transactions, chain forks and provider outages.

  5. 05

    Production readiness

Observability, alerting, disaster recovery drills and change management are established, with documentation that supports the client's internal audit and SOC 2 programs.

Questions leaders ask

Do you act as our custodian or key holder?

No. iQsolutions never holds client or customer keys or assets. We integrate the custody and key management providers you select, design approval policies, and build the systems around them. Operational control of keys always remains with you or your licensed custodian.

Can you help us meet regulatory requirements?

We build the technical controls your compliance team specifies, such as screening hooks, Travel Rule messaging, audit logs and reporting extracts, and document how they work. Determining which regulations apply, and whether the controls satisfy them, is the responsibility of your compliance function and legal counsel.

Should we run our own nodes or use a provider?

Usually a mix. Providers reduce operational load and suit most read traffic, while self-hosted nodes add independence for critical paths and data you must verify yourself. We design for at least two independent sources so a single provider outage does not halt operations.
